What eBay search can't tell you

Is it actually a deal?

Every bag is scored against the typical price for the same model, size and condition, so an Excellent Neverfull MM is only ever compared with other Excellent Neverfull MMs.

What comes with it

Dust bag, box, authenticity card and receipt, read from each title and description, plus material, colour, hardware and year.

Fake-risk checks

Authenticity Guarantee listings tagged, new and low-feedback sellers flagged, and anything 40%+ under typical gets a warning.

Only real, complete bags

Wallets, card holders, straps, inserts, charms, replicas, "inspired" bags, make-up pouches and repair projects are filtered out.

Every size priced

A Speedy 25 and a Speedy 35 aren't the same price. Models are split by size wherever sellers say which one it is.

Questions buyers ask

How much do second hand designer bags cost?

Today the middle asking price for a pre-owned designer bag on eBay UK is £625, across 15,511 Buy It Now listings from £50. The model, size and condition move the price more than anything else, so check the typical price on each model's page.

Are second hand designer bags on eBay real?

Many are, but not all. Look for the Authenticity Guarantee tag, where an independent authenticator checks the bag before it reaches you. We tag those listings, take out anything that calls itself a replica, a dupe or "inspired by", and warn about prices far below the usual price for that bag. Our guide to spotting a fake has more.

How do you know if a bag is a good deal?

Each listing is compared with other Buy It Now listings of the same model, the same size and the same eBay condition grade, so an Excellent bag is never scored against a Fair one. See how we price.

Are these sold prices?

No. They're asking prices from live eBay listings, including postage, refreshed every day. Bags often sell for a little less, especially when the seller takes offers.
